The Taos Mountain Chalet is the quintessential luxury ski chalet. With it's premier location just steps from the slopes, guests experience breathtaking views while relaxing inside the cozy chalet or sitting on the enormous slope side deck. The chalet is the only freestanding cabin located in the base area and is complete with a private outdoor hot tub. At 2,000 square feet, the two-story Chalet is large enough to accommodate 10 people. We allow pets too, but we charge a $20/night pet fee. The chalet offers old world ambiance, with a fireplace in the living room, and large windows framing the slopes of Taos Ski Valley. Guests are embraced in the warmth of the chalet's rich wood walls, ceilings and floors. Elegant antique furnishings, sumptuous leather sofas and oversized plush leather easy chairs, perfect for sinking into after a day of skiing in the winter or hiking in the summer. Guests have access to the Alpine Village Suites hot tub and sauna. We can also arrange for ski tickets, ski rentals, hot air ballooning, horseback riding, mountain biking and white water river rafting. The staff at Alpine Village Suites is available to answer any of your questions and assist you with anything you need to make your stay with us more enjoyable. The Taos Mountain Chalet is the only freestanding cabin in the heart of the Taos Ski Valley village. It is located right across from chairlift #1 and is within walking distance to all of the restaurants, skiing/snowboarding, and entertainment within the village. There are two private parking spaces dedicated to our Taos Mountain Chalet guests. From there, everything will be in walking distance from the Chalet as the location cannot be matched.
