Relaxing retreat on 16 acres of woods , minutes from shopping, restaurants, Lake Monroe and the I.U. stadium--a 13 minute drive for basketball and football fans. Fire pit, grill, hammock, board games, kitchenette, CD, record player. No cable /television. Cell phone service and internet available if sometimes a bit spotty. The studio is in the woods so you may see or encounter wildlife including deer, opossums, raccoons, snakes, bobcats, coyotes and birds. Owner lives on property. There are steps to get down to the property but no steps inside the property. Very comfortable queen size bed. Guests have access to the studio/cottage, fire pit and hammock area. There aren't any maintained trails on my property although if guests would like to take a stroll in my woods they are more than welcome to. I live on the property and when not around I am available via email or text. There is a lock box on the door with the key so guests can let themselves into the property. I give my guests privacy but if you are looking for complete seclusion my place probably isn't for you. Minutes to great hiking and Lake Monroe. You will need a car or bike to get into town from my property. You can also call Uber or Lyft or a cab. You can bring your bike and ride down Swartz Ridge Road to Lake Monroe. This is a very popular bike route for locals. Indiana University Stadium is 6 miles or about 14 minutes from my place. Downtown Bloomington is about 6.6 miles or about 18 minutes from my place. Lake Monroe Marina Cutright SRA is 6 miles or about 10 minutes from my listing. Nashville Indiana is 25 minutes from my place.
