Our 1500' elevation makes a perfect cool, peaceful evening respite after a day of beach going, hiking at Volcano National Park and enjoying Hilo's dining and entertainment. The property features a distant ocean view, many fruit trees, aquaponics, gardens, plenty of animals including dogs, Angus cows, chickens and a macaw named Li'i! Interacting with the animals on our ranch is part of the property's charm. One of the pictures shows the ohana layout so you can see where every room is located. Both bedrooms feature a large bed, storage organizer with room to hang clothes, en suite bathrooms, granite countertops and window sills and walk in showers. The living and dining area has many windows which overlook the front yard with fire pit and distant ocean view. There is a smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu as well as local stations. WiFi is throughout the home. Your private laundry is here as well as a guest bathroom. If there is a fifth guest in your group, then they will have access to the guest bathroom while either sleeping on the couch or a twin size inflatable bed. The kitchen is full of amenities including: refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave, large convection toaster oven, induction hot plate with pots and pans, etc... A quiet, gated community in Waiakea Uka area of Hilo. It's a 15 minute drive to downtown. When the sky is clear on a dark night, you can see thousands of stars with the naked eye. It does tend to rain a lot especially overnight as all of Hilo experiences this windward weather. Come prepared and have fun in the tropical, green jungle!
