Have you ever wanted to live back in the 1800s in an old farmhouse on 30 acres? We did! Here’s your chance! This is our family home but sometimes we go out of town and are happy to share it with others. It's really like walking back into history except for the comfortable couches in the living room And graciously updated bathrooms and kitchen. You’ll find antique bed warmers, spinning wheels, beautiful lamps, and furniture which will take you back to a more peaceful time. （We highly recommend snow tires, chains or four-wheel-drive in case of snow conditions！） The house is comfortable for 5 people. We have one king-size bed, one queen-size bed, and one full-size bed. You will have exclusive access to the entire house and 30 acres. Additional guests are $80 per night. Pets are welcome for an additional fee of $100 per stay. It's an excellent place for a romantic vacation or a get-together of family and friends for skiing, cross-country skiing, and cute old towns. Just 2 -3 minutes from historic Weston, a quintessentially cute Vermont town with its world-famous Vermont Country Store, museum, village green, and lumber mill. Centrally located to 4 world-class ski resorts, you are a 10-15 mile drive to Okemo, Magic Mountain, Bromley, and Stratton. Go to a play at the Weston Playhouse or listen to classical music at the Kinhaven Music School. Attend Compline service at the Weston Priory where the monks sing, and you can meditate in the chapel afterward. No religious affiliation is required. It is nourishing for your heart and spirit. Or have a Maple Creemee (delicious ice cream) at Mildred's, three minutes down the road. We have lots of wildlife including deer, turkeys, and many wild birds that will sing to you.
