We offer a free concierge with some great recommendations:) Kanab is situated in the "Grand Circle" area, centrally located among Vermilion Cliffs National Monument, Bryce Canyon National Park, the Grand Canyon (North Rim), Zion National Park, Pipe Spring National Monument, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Kodachrome Basin, Lake Powell, the Wave, Horseshoe Bend and so much more. We look forward to meeting you! Cliffside Cottage is a studio guesthouse with a fully equipped kitchenette, living space, one queen bed, one full-sized futon, closet, bath and laundry. Built with tender love and care by my husband and father-in-law in the spring of 2016. We are lucky enough to have our favorite view in all of Kanab right at our backdoor. With the Vermillion Cliffs and the Kanab trail system literally a stone's throw away, we frequently enjoy evening hikes which offer breathtaking views of Kanab, the Kaibab Plateau, Jackson Flat Resevoir, and every other square mile of desert the eye can behold. The Cottage is located directly behind our own home. There is space for parking and a separate yard entrance at the rear of the driveway for guests. My husband and I are both peoples people. We love meeting others and hearing their stories. We are very easy going so feel free to come and go as you please. If you have questions, feel free to ask. We will seek to be of assistance and welcome you in any way we can. Cliffside Cottage is located near the end of a family-filled cul-de-sac. We LOVE that we have direct access to the mountains and trails directly behind our home. Our street is within a mile of downtown Kanab (restaurants, entertainment, stores) which is only a minute or two by car or close enough for an enjoyable walk too. Kanab has no public transport system, but there are plenty of places to rent ATV's, bikes, or schedule toured rides. Most everything in Kanab is within walking distance. We have a long, deep driveway which sees frequent use, so we ask that if you park in the driveway, park up near the Cottage along the far right side of the driveway or park in front of the main house on the gravel. Either is fine. Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away. Get around in town mostly via car.
