East Dorset is home to a number of venues that include the Wilson House. The Battenkill River rises here in East Dorset with its feeding tributary streams in the area. Both Route 7A and Hiway 7 are conveniently accessed from this area. Historic Mad Tom Road takes you on a lovely scenic drive passing orchards, blueberry farms and otherwise beautiful local scenery. However you can also catch the locally run bus/vans that run between Rutland and Bennington. These vehicles stop at the East Dorset General Store. NO PARTIES
