"Miner Cottage" is one of Manchester's most stately and historic homes. Just steps from The Equinox Golf Resort & Spa, this house offers it's guests the perfect hub for their Vermont experience no matter the occasion. Miner Cottage is within walking distance of several of the town's local restaurants and shops. It's a short drive from from Bromley (15 min.) and Stratton (35 min.) ski areas, the Summer Festival Horseshow, Hildene (the Lincoln Family estate), and other Southern Vt. attractions. Nestled in the mountains of Southern Vt. while in the "heart" of Manchester, Miner Cottage (circa 1796) was once a renowned Vt. summer home visited by the likes of Grandma Moses and Charles Dickens. Its rambling design including 3 spacious living rooms, provides the home's guests with plenty of room to gather or escape depending upon one's wishes. Miner Cottage is an historic house and, as such, is not "wheel chair compatible." I will not be in Manchester, Vt. during your visit; I will be in Wilton, Ct.
