Imagine waking up from the king bed, take a nice morning shower and make yourself a cup of coffee or tea while reading the news or getting up to date in the living room making use of the fiber optic internet of the house. Welcome to The Sunset Heights Purlieu! This property encompasses the Sunshine Bungalow, the Blue Skies Bungalow, and the Tree Top Loft. This listing is for The Blue Skies Bungalow only. The backyard area- deck, patio, rain garden, and salt-water pool are all shared with other guests of The Sunset Heights Purlieu. The Blue Skies Bungalow was completely remodeled in 2017. Guests are provided with a key to the shared salt-water pool. The house comfortably sleeps a combination of adults and children for a maximum of 12 people. For the most comfort, we suggest a 10 adults maximum. Guests will have three private bedrooms, two private bathrooms, two private living rooms, and a private kitchen and laundry. Guests will have access to the shared salt-water pool and other shared backyard spaces. Parking Guests may park 2-3 cars in the gravel parking area in front of the house, parallel to the street. Please do not park in the driveway, as this is for the guests in the garage apartment. Additional vehicles may be parked on the street. We are always a call away if there is something you need. We are available to answer any questions or help to make your stay a memorable one by offering suggestions for local attractions, entertainment, or eats. You will be in a lovely and lively neighborhood within walking distance to parks, shopping, restaurants and bars. We are only 5 miles to downtown, which is an easy drive, Uber/Lyft, or bus ride away. The bike path that connect the Heights to downtown is only a few blocks away. We have a delicious bakery, Angela's Oven, at the corner. There are a few bus routes that pass by our street. Getting downtown is very simple. There is a private, fenced-in dog-run area on the side of the house, measuring about 5’x30’. Otherwise, the shared yard is partially fenced and dogs will need to be kept on a leash as a consideration to other guests on the property. Dogs are not allowed inside the pool fence. The WIFI works well all over the property, so our guests can access the internet remotely while sitting on the deck, in the outdoor seating area, or poolside. Pool is shared with other guests and NOT heated. Best swimming months are May-October, although our 4 year old did swim on a very warm February day! To further enjoy the pool, we do offer free pool towels on the property. For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have external security cameras located: 3 in backyard. One pointing to driveway, one to pool and patio, one on garage side door entrance. *We do entertain pets on a Case by case basis, for a small fee of - $75 each pet per stay.
