You will fall in love with the close knit, friendly neighborhood. The ocean is all around you and very accessible. Watch the sunrise over Mt. Baker or the sunset light up the harbor. Enjoy a round of golf for a minimal cost. Tennis and pickle ball are free of charge and about a 2 min. drive within the gated community. It's a very safe area and you'll find it extremely relaxing. Some have called it magical with little bunnies hopping about eating clover and the cranes flying overhead. Our Beach Bungalow, as we like to call it....sits on 1/3 of an acre. There's lots of room for lounging and viewing of the harbor and Mt. Baker. The whole house is yours and the neighbors are very quiet and friendly. Our home is very Clean, Bright and Airy with views from every room. The ceilings are vaulted and there are two large sliding glass doors to the deck and yard. The bedrooms are a comfortable size and the beds are super comfy. This is a gated community so you will need to check in at the entrance. If you have visitors, they will also have to check in after you've given the gate their names. Check in details are extremely simple and flexible. The golf shack has a small licensed restaurant which you can find food such as burgers and the best clam chowder you've ever had and for quite a deal! There is a Club house which offers various activities as well as movies and books to borrow. You will enjoy full membership which gives you access to the outdoor pool and hot tub for a minimal fee. Myself and my property manager are very accessible by phone or in person. We think of life in Birch Bay Village as glorified camping in that it is so quiet and full of nature. There are no street lights at night so you can sit by the fire and watch the stars without hindrance. The lot is private but you can interact with passerby's if you choose. There is 24/7 security which you will notice driving by every now and then. It's only a 5 minute walk to one of the 3 beaches within the village where you can Kayak, beach comb, swim or just sit and watch the waves. Golfing and tennis are also in the village and only a 2 minute drive away. Just outside the village, there's shopping, water slides, restaraunts and sight seeing. We are about a 30 minute drive to Bellingham and 10 minutes to the Canadian border. There is a speed limit within the village which is strictly enforced. Rather than a nuisance, after you've begun to wind down, you will find that this adds to the serenity and beauty of the property. Many people choose to navigate their way through the village on golf carts, bicycles or by foot. This is a very special place where people are respectful and friendly. Loud parties are not accepted and will be shut down by the 24/7 security. Please show the neighbors the same consideration they will show you.
