We visit the fields during the day to check on the animals and the garden. We’re also in the neighborhood if you have special needs during your stay. The property has many areas: gardens, chicken coups, hammocks, ponds, creeks, fire circles, and glamping structures in the woods. You may enjoy all of them. We are in the neighborhood and available for support during your stay. No parties or extra guests without prior approval. It's important to us that everyone here treats the land and animals with respect and uses their time here to connect with Nature. Dirt roads and endless woods with river access nearby. Shops and civilization are a 10-15 minute drive from the farm. Several bucolic places to take long walks. Please inform us if you have dogs. We are supportive of dog-owners but have had bad experiences in the past with dogs terrorizing our animals. Please only bring your dogs if you are confident in their docility. If you are not sure, we can keep our chickens locked up. *Want to have a small wedding here?? We had a fully outdoor wedding here this year and would love to help you with yours. We actually offer a small wedding package that includes flowers, tents, tables, chairs, and a really exceptional ordained officiant. Our weddings are for couples that are madly in love and feel overwhelmed by the wedding industry.
