Only 6 miles from historic downtown Blue Ridge, you’ll have the chance to dine out and experience real Southern cooking. There are antique shops to explore, and many other shops to discover while strolling about town. Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad offers scenic train rides which will take you to Mccayesville for the afternoon for more dining experiences and experiencing the quaint small town shops. Perhaps you’re thinking of doing some boating during your stay in the North Georgia Mountains. Spend a day on Lake Blue Ridge where you can launch your boat. Rent a kayak for the day or take your chance at stand-up paddle boards. Take a swim or grab your fishing rod for the best trout fishing around. Whether you choose to stay active during your stay or chill in the hot tub taking in the fresh mountain air; this is your retreat to do as much or as little as you like. You will need your own transportation here. You'll travel about 200' on a flat gravel road to get to the cabin from the paved road. Rest easy knowing we are taking all precautions to keep you and your family healthy. We follow CDC cleaning guidelines and aim to go over and above for your safety. All hard surfaces have been cleaned with Clorox and Lysol products. Light switches, TV remotes, and door knobs have been thoroughly wiped with Lysol wipes. Linens have been washed with disinfectant detergents. Air filters are sprayed with Lysol for anything in the air. Once all cleaning is complete, the house is sprayed down with Lysol spray as the housekeeper leaves the cabin. We are prepared to take exceptional sanitation efforts if anyone gets sick while staying with us. If anyone in your party shows any signs of any illness while here, please leave a note for the housekeeper and notify us.
