This property has been in the family for several generations. Bar Island is accessible by car. The family built a causeway to it back in the 1960’s . The Camp is cozy, clean, and furnished. The kitchen has a full fridge and a modern stove, a microwave and coffee maker. Camp is wired for electric. New water system is heated and pumped to sink and outdoor shower. Portapotty maintained weekly. A Queen sofa and a futon are on the main floor. Surround view of ocean with water views all day. Private sandy/stone beach unique to Bar Island. Star gazing is spectacular. Small working harbor views. Fully accessible We are available if you need water supplies refilled. We have lots of suggestions for sights to see. Message us anytime. Several year around homes are on the island. Several have summer homes on the island. The grocery and shops are 6 miles in town. A couple of great takeouts nearby and two restaurants. The town has a library, pharmacy, pub, grocery store, museum, a park, two banks, a medical center, and post office. Park in the driveway of the Camp. Kayaks and gear are available for sharing for guest use at both our Cottage and Camp. For a full week or more stay we serve a lobster: shore dinner for two.
