Washington County is popular for its Bold Coast trails, lobsters, clams, blueberries and more. Bass, pickerel, perch and salmon Swimming. Guests are welcome to use the Lily pad and float in front of owner's cabin two doors from this cottage. Full access. Owner lives in a cottage beyond this cottage. Washington County is home to Bold Coast Trails, fishing, lobstering, whale watching, puffin tours, Sea and Sky Festival, Blueberry festival, Helen's Restaurant famous for its blueberry pies, Summer Keys in Lubec and so much more. Or, just enjoy the lake and the awesome sunsets from the deck looking up the lake. 8+ miles long, the lake extends from Southern Cove to Second Gardner Lake and Harmon and Clifford Stream. Gardner Lake had Large and Smallmouth bass, Landlocked Salmon, White Perch and pickerel. Eagles, Kingfishers and Osprey are often seen hunting in the coves. Parking on site. Public transportation from Machias to Bangor. Pick up site is about 9 miles from cottage. Due to insurance availability, I am no longer able to offer the use of the Kayaks and canoe. I can provide the name of a local company that will rent them and includes delivery and pick up.
