I am in the tourism industry and have 18 yrs experience in CR...all areas with contacts! If thinking of moving here, this is a great place to start and if you're surfers, this is a strategic location...I surf everyday I don't have a boat trip (and when it's witch's, I still surf)! This place has a lundary room, and I am happy to impart my local knowledge while you're here, including where to surf considering conditions. You will need a 4x4 car or you can rent my Rav4...you drive to the lower level, parking next to the pool in your own covered spot. Walk across the new teak deck, along the pool and into the new place: all new everything including new A.C.s and bed/furnishings and new kitchen! Own patio deck poolside, w view and no stairs! I live here (Pittsburgh native, Colorado adulthood) with my tica wife and kids, dual citizens, bilingual...great to learn Spanish (my PhD work in 2nd language acquisition) but away from my house and kids if you want to be left alone. We are a busy (ambitious) family, so not here all day...but at night to stargaze, we are present on premise with our trained German Shepherds and outdoor cameras to keep you very safe...I do boat tours, manage a condo in Tamarindo centro, and just started a construction company. So, aside from being busy, I love to help out to make your stay enjoyable! Complete peace, serenity, stars and security...it's real Costa Rica, 20 mins to the expats...A surfer's mainstay--I surf the best waves everyday, either Marbella, Negra or on my boat to Witch's Rock...even if not a surfer, you will be a quick trip to look at other areas, and I will give you some places that will blow your mind.
