Unforgettable views of migratory birds, the harbor and the Pacific from all rooms. The home is directly on the bay waterfront, with views of Doran Beach to the south and the Bodega Headlands and village to the north. It is within a few hundred yards of the Bodega Harbor Yacht Club and Sonoma Coast Vineyards. You have access to the entire home and most of the cupboards and washer/dryer closet. Our property manager Stephanie is nearby for any questions or issues you might have. Text her, she will respond quickly. Otherwise she leaves guests in complete privacy. The road, while parallel to Coast Highway, is quiet and quaint. Many kayakers and kite surfers make their way here before heading across the bay to Doran Beach. Bodega Coast Inn is on the east side of the street. For a quick bite within walking distance there is a very good hamburger/hot dog cafe about 50 yards away. Also, cappuccinos and good ice cream! PLEASE NOTE: Our many windows, including bed and bath, are uncovered 24/7. It is impossible for anyone outside to see in (unless another guest is on your deck), but this might be an issue for some. There are no blackout shades or shutters. It is a huge joy to wake up with the early morning but for those who prefer to sleep late in utter darkness, or who prefer coverable windows, this may not be the house for you. We have two cameras on the property. One is to watch the front gate and one is trained on the back stairs to the water. We've had trespassers come and tamper with the Jacuzzi so we installed them for protection. No other angles or views are taken.
