Our Cozy Loft Rooms have been thoughtfully designed to provide a comfortable and functional space for those who prioritise adventure and exploration. These well-appointed loft rooms each have a queen bed, making them ideal for solo travellers or those who spend most of their time discovering the area. Please be advised that since the loft rooms are on the second floor above common living spaces, the rooms may not be suitable for noise-sensitive guests. Villa Ave del Paraíso is an intimate seven-bedroom bed & breakfast nestled just a leisurely three-minute stroll from the sun-kissed shores and surfing haven of Playa Avellanas. Our guest rooms are arranged in a U-shape surrounding our tranquil outdoor pool, complemented by inviting wooden lounge chairs and swaying hammocks to bask in the warmth of the Guanacaste sun. At Villa Ave del Paraíso, we offer more than just a place to rest your head. For those seeking mindfulness and inner tranquility, our thatched yoga palapa beckons as the perfect sanctuary for your yoga practice. Our communal living room and kitchen area provide a welcoming space for forging connections with fellow travellers, or simply unwinding with a captivating book or a movie on our large TV. You'll find our fully-equipped kitchen stocked with everything you need to prepare your own lunch and dinners, as we help kickstart your days with a complimentary, hearty vegetarian breakfast.  We are also committed to minimising our ecological impact without sacrificing the comfort of our guests with the following conscious practices: -Avoidance of single-use plastics -Provision of refillable biodegradable toiletries (hand wash, body wash, shampoo) and cleaning supplies from Costa Rican company Florex -Installation of bidets in every toilet to reduce single use paper consumption -Onsite compost bin to reduce landfill waste -Vegetarian breakfast -Reusable napkins -Room cleaning for stays longer than four days to conserve water and energy We hope you can support us in these practices and help us reduce our ecological footprint by turning off the lights and air conditioner when not in the room and placing bottles/cans into the recycle bin in the kitchen. Guests will have exclusive access to their private room and bathroom, and shared access to kitchen, living room, pool, outdoor seating areas, and yoga palapa. Escape to paradise at Villa Ave del Paraíso, located just a block away from the beautiful beach of Playa Avellanas in the Guanacaste Province of Costa Rica. What sets Playa Avellanas apart from other beach towns is its pristine natural beauty, world class surf, and secluded, peaceful atmosphere. We love Avellanas because it is still relatively quiet, laid back, and unspoiled but still in close driving proximity to the bustling town of Tamarindo. We are located on the end of a quiet road to the beach. Parking is available on our driveway outside our main door. Please note that the roads leading to Playa Avellanas are primarily unpaved and can be rough and bumpy, although we think it adds to its charm and has allowed the small town to retain its peacefulness. While efforts are made to maintain the roads, they can become muddy and difficult to navigate during rainy seasons. It is recommended to drive slowly and carefully, and to consider renting a vehicle with high clearance or four-wheel drive. We assure you that the natural beauty, peaceful atmosphere, and great surf of Playa Avellanas more than make up for any challenges posed by the roads. 1. Please note that water, power, and internet outages are common in this region of Costa Rica due to various unforeseen circumstances. While we strive to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay for our guests, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted water, power supply, and wireless internet service at all times. Each room is equipped with emergency flashlights for the safety of our guests. We also maintain an emergency water tank for shorter water outages. 2. Our location nestled amongst lush vegetation and one block from the beautiful shoreline comes with the potential for encounters with animals, insects, and plants that are native to the region and are an integral part of the natural ecosystem. Please be aware that some animals and insects may make noises that are unfamiliar (ie. howler monkeys and frogs). We recommend that guests take precautions such as keeping doors and windows closed, using insect repellent, and avoiding leaving food out to minimise the risk of attracting unwanted animals or insects. Additionally, we recommend that you not touch any unknown plants, animals, or insects, as we are not responsible for any damage or harm caused. 3. While we take every precaution to ensure the safety of our guests and their belongings, we cannot be held responsible for any theft, loss, or damage that may occur during your stay. We advise all guests to take cautionary measures to protect their valuables, including but not limited to: -Locking all doors and windows when leaving the room or property. -Using the in-room safe or front desk safe to store any valuable items such as cash, passports, and electronics. -Avoiding leaving valuables unattended on the beach, in public areas, or in your vehicle. -Being mindful of your surroundings and avoiding walking alone at night. We also recommend that guests keep copies of important documents, such as passports and credit cards, in a secure location, and to inform us immediately if any theft or loss occurs. We urge guests to report any suspicious activity to our staff. 4. Most restaurants here accept credit card payments, but we would recommend withdrawing cash from an ATM before driving into Avellanas. Otherwise, the closest ATM is in the JW Marriott, a 15 minute drive away. Likewise, we recommend stopping at one of the large grocery stores in Villareal or Paraíso on your way to Avellanas to pick up food and beverages if you plan on preparing your own meals. In Avellanas, there is a small market called Surya Natural Market that sells natural and organic food products but of limited variety and a mini market that sells basic groceries across from The Point. 5. Laundry service is available for $20 a load (wash/dry/fold).
