The home sits back from the road, and the backyard opens up to a dense forest with private riverfront access. A short path through the backyard takes you to the outdoor fire pit at the banks of the Lehigh River, with 8 brand new polywood Adirondack chairs. And don't forget to lounge in the hammock tucked away by the riverbank. ↟ BIG BASS LAKE AMENITIES ↟ You and your loved ones won't ever be bored with all the amenities that this private community has to offer. Enjoy access to 2 beaches, 2 pools (indoor + outdoor), basketball, tennis and pickleball courts, a splash pad, playgrounds & more! Kayaks & paddleboards are also available to rent from Thursday to Sunday, and must be reserved 48 hours in advance. Amenity passes are priced as follows (ages 7 and above) and paid for on-site at the Clubhouse: - Daily pass: weekday $8 // weekend or holiday $10 (per day/per person) - Weekly pass: non-holiday $30 // holiday $50 (per week/per person) When you stay at Lehigh River Lodge, this is your home. You have full access to the property, inside and out, with the exception of the locked owners closet. A unique code will be given to guests prior to their stay, granting you seamless access to the home. The home is fitted with a smart door lock and includes free parking in the driveway for up to six vehicles. In advance of your stay, you will receive detailed instructions and resources (House Manual, Community & Amenity Map, etc.) to ensure you can plan your trip seamlessly and make the most of your stay. Big Bass Lake is an award-winning and Gold Star Certified premier gated community located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains. Big Bass Lake is a safe community to walk or jog in. You will need a car to get from the house to most of the community amenities. In the winter, the roads are well plowed, but we are in the mountains and can experience inclement weather conditions. Parking is allowed in the driveway only. There is free parking for up to six cars. 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 The community and township enforce a strict limit of 12 guests during your entire stay (including children, except those under 3-years-old) and guests may not be swapped out mid-stay. Additional daytime-only guests are not permitted and will not be admitted through the gate. The bylaws state that you must be 25 or older to rent. 🛶 Big Bass Lake has many amenities (enjoy the extensive list below!) that can be accessed for the duration of your stay for a small per-guest fee (paid directly to Big Bass Lake Community Association; more details listed above).
