Take it easy at this tranquil rural location near to the famous Cheetah's Rock attraction. We can organise for you trips and experiences to Stonetown and other Zanzibar attractions. This property has amazing sea views and sunset from the balcony. The apartment is nestled in lush greenery and a 18 acre fruit farm, where you feel at one with nature. The place has been designed with many eco features, including use of 95% renewable energy and enhanced natural ventilation for greater comfort. It's the perfect place to stay if you want to be near the Cheetahs Rock adventure. The buildings are surrounded by lush greenery and a fresh water stream with lots of birds and animals. The place is called "Cresta" from the latin word meaning "ridge", which is the location of the building is on a ridge with 3 valleys to the sides. Also breakfast is available to purchase €4 per person per day. Local food dinner is available to purchase for €6 per person per day. You can use the beach any time, go for walks or have a barbecue by the beach. You have access to walk around the ranch area and enjoy the sights and sounds, including the many bird and wildlife at our own spring water stream. There is a local village you can visit for interaction with local villagers if you wish. We can arrange food and washing of clothes if you require . Either myself or Mr Fellow who manages the apartment when i am not around will be available. Mr Fellow will be available by phone and message and I will be available through the app or email, as well as onsite. We welcome everyone and will always take the lead from our guest on how much they would like to socialise (but will let you stay in private too if you wish). We are very friendly and are looking forward to meeting you! All contact details will be given on arrival In evening time you will see the spectacular sunset across the ocean. No two sunset are the same. Also you can see the sunrise in the morning. At night time you will hear the lion roar in the distant. you will also hear various night insects, bushbabies and birds until sunrise in a complete serene environment. At sunrise, you will see the sun coming over the distant coconut trees and some morning mist. Daytime you will see the ocean or swim in the clear water, enjoy see the lush green trees and fruits plantation. We also have snorkeling over the local coral or take wooden kayak for small fishing in the sea for a small fee. We have Mangoes, Papaya, Coconut, Avocados, Jackfruit, Guava and some other fruit trees. During season, you can purchase some of these delicious organic fresh fruits. We also have our own organic vegetables, chicken and milk from cows. The best way to get around the ranch, spring water stream and to the beach is to walk (you will need either walking shoes or water shoes). We will show you the paths. To and from the ranch is best by either private taxi, daladala (public minibus), tuktuk or public hire motorcycle. All of our electricity for lights, fans and other appliances use renewable energy and is free. However, the air conditioner requires mains powered electricity and we will charge you separately for that using a meter at rate of $0.30 per KW. The air conditioners we use are modern A rating. Typically on average $1.00 will give you 3 to 4 hours of AC usage per room. If you do not use air conditioner, then you will not pay any money for electricity. Our buildings and windows have been designed to capture significant part of the ridge airflow, due to the local ridge/valley effect and we feel only the hottest days of the year will require air conditioning. We can also organise take away food or locally cook for you or purchase ingredients if you wish. Breakfast available to purchase €4 per person per day.
