Friday night Fish Fry in Governors Harbour is a street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street. You won’t want to miss it. The town of Palmetto Point, less than 10 minutes from the house, has several smaller stores and a good restaurant. There is a good grocery store, Midway Cost Cutters, just five minutes from the house.
