You’ll be just 5 minutes from the airport and about a 10-minute drive to pretty much anywhere else on Provo. It’s perfect for two couples, or a family of four with children over the age of 12. We mention this age limit because the pool is not gated. However, if you accept responsibility for your children's safety, you can reach out to us to discuss. You’ll be near Thompson Cove canal and a short walk from the beach, in a uniquely beautiful area. You are guaranteed to see turtles, schools of fish swimming in the canal and various species of birds. You’ll have kayaks, SUPs and snorkel gear at your disposal. Just a 15-minute walk will get you to the world-famous "Da Conch Shack," known for their local rum punches! The Lighthouse has two bedrooms, both with king-size beds and ensuite bathrooms. Bedroom 1, we call the "Poolside Suite," is in a separate building from the main part of the home and features a unique outdoor shower (don't worry...it’s private and has hot water!). Bedroom 2 is the "Ocean View Suite" on the second floor of the main home and features a terrace overlooking the Thompson Cove beach and the sea. These rooms also have wall-mounted Smart TV with Netflix, Prime, Chromecast, Hulu, and HBO Max available when you just want some relaxing downtime. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen to prepare meals at home and a living room that literally spills right into the pool when the doors are open! There’s an outdoor patio, sun deck, and BBQ grill for a poolside cookout when you don’t feel like going out. There’s also an "lighthouse tower" that you can climb to get a stunning bird’s-eye view! If you need to log in a little work time… we've got you covered. There’s high-speed internet throughout the property, so working from home or on a sun chair on the dock will be a breeze. Although you may see your neighbors or us out and about at times, you’ll have complete privacy inside the LightHouse Cottage during your stay. It’s self-check-in using a door code. The Lighthouse Cottage sits in view of the Thompson Cove canal and its beach. It’s a unique area with lots of wildlife like turtles and schools of fish swimming in the canal, and a variety of birds. You’ll be a 15-minute walk down the beach from the world-famous "Da Conch Shack,” known for their local rum punches, and a 15-minute drive gets you to the popular Grace Bay. You’ll have access to a guidebook once you book with us. You’ll be about a 5-minute drive (2 miles | 3.2 km) from the Providenciales International Airport (PLS). Provo is small, but it’s very spread out. There is no public transportation system, and taxis are expensive, so renting a car is highly recommended so you can explore the island, see the beautiful beaches, dine at spectacular restaurants, and buy groceries for those days you just want to stay by the pool. There are 2 parking spots in the driveway at the property. We ask that you please refrain from throwing parties/events and no excessive noise. We have quiet hours from 10 pm to 7 am to be respectful of the neighbors who need to work in the morning. We provide some bath essentials like shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and toilet paper, as well as some cleaning supplies and some garbage bags. These items, however, are not replenished during the stay. If you need anything more, you’ll need to purchase or pack it! Daily house cleaning is not available however, if you would like a mid-stay cleaning, one can be arranged for a fee. Please let us know in advance. Security cameras are used on the exterior of the property for guest safety and security reasons only. Please do not smoke inside our home! (tobacco, cannabis, etc.) Drug use and illegal activity (cannabis is illegal in TCI) on the premises are also prohibited. Failure to comply will result in a $250 fine. Please, no more guests than those listed in your reservation. Guests will be responsible for any damages that occur or extra cleaning costs as a result of their stay.
