Santo Cacto Is a beautiful small house in the most quiet neighborhood behind the church, you are 5 min walking from the beach without having the road noise. Restaurants, kite launching spots, grocery store just around the corner. At night you can see the constellations. Welcome to Santo Cacto! IMPORTANT NOTE: There is no A/C. Lovely small house with all the facilities from a big house. Enjoy our terrace with Oceanview and the sunset behind a cactus forest. We care about the environment so we installed an ecological biodigestor to make sure no harm is done to nature and we use the water in the best possible way (remember this is a Desert with a fragile environment). Currently I am not in the property but I am reachable over the app and telephone messages. Dulce will be making sure everything is set up and in place for your comfort. She can be available when something in site is needed. Quiet neighborhood with the best of everything just a few minutes walking!!! Ocean, wind, local food (tacos!), grocery stores and my favorite bar in Playa Central :P There is not public transportation in La Ventana. You can rent bikes and ATVs. if you stay in Santo Cacto It is very easy to walk from the property to different places and if you need Airport transfer we can help you too coordinate it. La Ventana is a small town with some challenges in infrastructure, we would like to share a few of these challenges so you have a happy staying :) *Wi-Fi*: We just installed ToroNet, the best possible high speed internet available. In certain times of the day specially at night it can become slow. Other places with good internet in case you want to download/upload large files please go the bar inside Playa Central or the Coffee place KM0. Both of these places offer better connection than the one in the houses in the area. *Toilet paper*: There is no sewer system in the area, people uses septic tanks and I decided to use a biodigestor which I found more environment friendly. Please place the toilet paper in the trash bin so the biodigestor can work properly. *Trash*: There are not recycling plants, please be conscious about plastic use. Bring water thermos and recipients that you can reuse. We have tote bags for your groceries. *Ants*: The desert can be harsh, there are tiny harmless black ants which are waiting for opportunities to find food, if you leave something on the counter top they will tell their friends there is a food party in place. I am against putting poison because we will be polluting also the fragile ecosystem. if you have the place tidy the ants won't show up.
