The staff in the apartment complex is very attentive and there will be someone to help you if you were to need anything. You can also always send an email or text for anything you may need. The apartment complex is very close to the Marina, not so close with the main tourist area. It is very quiet, and relaxed, and the beach is very clean. Even so, it is easy to walk to various restaurants, in the marina and in other parts of town. The walk to the marina is about 10 minutes, other places it will be a little bit longer but public transport and taxis are also available. You can use the local transport, which stops right outside the apartment complex, very safe and accessible. You can also call the reception and ask for a taxi, it will come fast and is very safe. There is a nice cycling path of approximately 8km where you can run or bike (there are bikes available to rent in some hotels). It goes from the Marina to an ecological reserve where many animals can be spotted. There are excellent restaurants in both Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo (easy to get to) as well as a good nightlife to enjoy. You can walk along the beach all the way to the marina, or to the other side where you might be able to spot crocodiles in a controlled and safe environment.
