Los Monos is in a quiet safe local residential neighborhood, high above the ocean. Close to restaurants, groceries, the beach, and great views.Recently remodeled, secure & fresh , you’ll love the house, comfy beds, AC, quality linens, fully equipped kitchen with gas range, well decorated, great art work and nice outdoor space. We are very serious about only four guests and no late checkins. There is a very pleasant shaded outdoor seating area where you can get a peek of the ocean and listen to waves just 75 feet away. There is a Weber gas grill that uses the small disposable canisters available in all the grocery stores and Colmados. Just across the street is a little used, public Bohio/Gazebo where you can take our beach chairs and go sit and be directly on the ocean and enjoy spectacular views and sunsets. You can take a very steep short path down to sea glass beach by following the dead end street that turns to the right next to the house.. There is a very well equipped kitchen with a full-size gas range, a full size refrigerator, and all the pots and pans and dishes you could need. The inside table seats four comfortably, there is a small table outside table with 4 chairs. We provide dish soap and at least one roll of paper towels. The comfortable master bedroom has a memory foam queen mattress and an inverter AC, and a huge closet .The second bedroom has two comfortable twin beds, closet and another inverter AC. We provide high quality linens and towels so there is no need to pack those things. The subway tiled bathroom is newly remodeled and has an ample shower equipped with shampoo, conditioner and soap. There is an additional shower with its own hot water source in the brightly painted laundry shed behind the maln house. That shower is perfect for when you come back from the beach or when everyone is on the same shower schedule as It has its own hot water heater. This is a free standing home, not an apartment or condo. No space is shared with anyone except your own group. I like to give my guests space to enjoy the island on there own however i or one of my helpers are always available by text, email or phone to answer questions or give advice if needed. I or one of my assistants will check you in and orient you to the property and the island. Casa Los Monos is in a very local seaside neighborhood a few blocks from the center of Isabel. You can hear and see the ocean from the house. This is not a resort community but a true local barrio. Horses, Chickens and roosters wonder at will all over town. We have three properties in this little community with plans to renovate them all as vacation homes. Los Monos is the first one ready, the seahorse is close and the hurricane did slow slow progress but it is now finished . We have wonderful neighbors and our guests like the experience of being right in the middle of a different culture. Please be respectful of our elderly neighbors by not playing music after 9pm and keeping noise to a minimum. The house has ample off street parking. If you chose not to have a vehicle you are just a few blocks from the main street, with a grocery store, several Colmados/convenience stores, restaurants, the bank and post office. Coqui Fire, one of the most popular restaurants on Vieques is just an 8 minute walk from the house, by the plaza.
