It is built with natural materials, using traditional construction methods and ecological techniques, featuring fallen trees as structural beams, bamboo and straw thatches. It is tucked away, providing a secluded and tranquil space where you can feel safe, relax and seek comfort in the jungle, yet remaining walking distance to the many amenities of the town and just 200m from Cocles beach. Here, you can experience the abundance of nature that Costa Rica is so famous for - live amongst wildlife such as sloths, howler monkeys and toucans, and wake up to the sweets sounds of hummingbirds. Explore the lush jungle vegetation and find a rainbow of tropical plants growing close by. Casa Manu Ciao is a cosy yet spacious environment, featuring three rooms and one bathoom. There is an open-air kitchen complete with oven, blender and coffee making facilities, and a sociable, terrace living area with a couch, hammock and dining table. The open spaces are designed for you to be able to relax amongst the beautiful surroundings, yet remain covered and protected should the tropical rains arrive. There are six world class beaches along a few miles stretch, walk or bike in between and find yourself immersed in a truly international scene where locals carry on with daily life and travellers from all over the world revel in what this amazing community has to offer. We are in walking distance of the local supermarket and just minutes from many cafes, restaurants, food stalls and a bakery. In nearby Puerto Viejo, there are local boutiques for shopping and a beachfront strip filled with artists and vendors selling local crafts Bicycles are available to rent nearby and parking is available on site for drivers.
