It blends both the indoor and outdoor environments with its use of outdoor terraces, open-plan living and high-ceilings. On the ground floor you'll find three bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king size bed and private bath, the second bedroom has a queen size bed and a twin and a private bathroom as well. The third bedroom has a queen size bed. The second floor has two very spacious bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a queen, both have a private bathroom. The third floor has a cozy love nest with a queen size bed and a beautiful pool view. The living room has a full size sofa bed if needed. For a total of 6 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. The villa comfortably accommodates 14 guests. Our tropical swimming pool is surround by a lush beautiful garden and a giant tiki hut, casting a perfect shadow over the pool's bench seating. Relax in one of the hammocks, take the sun in one of the lounge chairs or grill poolside. All to the sounds of the tropics and the nearby surf. Don't be surprised if cute Howler and White Faced monkeys come to say hello from our treetops. Sliding glass doors practically take up the entire west facing part of the second floor which opens up to an expansive balcony overlooking the pool. Additionally the balcony has a hot tub, a covered dining area, lounge chairs, and hammock. A cozy environment which lends itself perfectly for alfresco dining. You'll appreciate the amazing sounds of the tropics, surf and the scent given off by the nearby Ylang Ylang tree. The bottom floor has a big terrace which overlooks our beautiful garden and is just a few steps from the pool deck. It also has a couple of hammocks and a six top patio set. Plenty beach and pool towels, daily housekeeping and specialty services such as private Yoga or Pilates classes, surf lessons, massages and private chefs can be arranged. One on the ground floor and the other is on the second floor each equipped with a dual stage water filtration system. We also have purified water dispensers in each floor, lets us know when you are running low and we'll a 5-gallon jug delivered to your doorstep. Both kitchens are totally equipped with modern appliances and all the glassware, serveware, pots/pans and cutlery you'll need. The great thing about our location is that we are in quiet residential area in the heart of Mal Pais and the most important thing is just a short walk away. The beach! Our neighborhood is essentially the little town of Mal Pais which practically hugs the coastline. We encourage our guests to take walks from the house to town and explore the gorgeous coastline. On low tide you will find some amazing tide pools. One of the most beautiful beaches in Mal Pais and Santa Teresa is just 5 minutes from our property. It's called the Swiss Beach also known as Playa Cuevas, check it out and fall in love. We have a convenience/liquor store that is a short walk from the house called Super Chicos. It has a nice selection of fruits and veggies as well. Open 7 days a week 8AM - 8PM. Doña Teresa Pizzeria is a 5 minute walk from the property. Has excellent wood fired pizza and yummy empanadas. The Mal Pais Canopy is also 5 minute drive from the property and I highly recommend our guests to zip line along it's 11 platforms inside the Mal Pais Jungle. Super fun for all ages! Ask us to reserve your spot in advance they have a 9am, 11am and 3pm tour. One of the nicest things about our neighborhood is the Mal Pais Fishery, which is just down the road (exactly 1km). You can head over there and buy fresh fish right off the line. The local fisherman will filet it for you right on the spot : ) The best way to explore our fascinating coastline, waterfalls and exciting town is by having a rental car or an ATV during your stay. I'm happy to arrange Honda 2-seater ATVs or 4-seater Honda Pioneers to our guests. Just message me once you've booked and I'll have them delivered to your door step. Our property has ample free parking a few steps from the villa. Playa Cuevas aka Playa Los Suecos -- 1km This is by far one of the most beautiful beaches along the Mal Pais and Santa Teresa coastline and it's a 5 minute drive from our property. A little hidden trail opens up to a magical tropical beach. This white sand beach hugs the Cabo Blanco Absolute Reserve, it's more beautiful then the many pictures you'll find online. Great spot to come relax with family and friends, lots of shade you can even go snorkeling. It's exactly 1km away, many of our guests choose to take the walk over there. Playa Carmen and Santa Teresa -- 4km Both beaches are 4km from our property, a 10 minute drive at most. White sand beaches great to relax and dozens of fun peaks to surf at. Check out beach front Restaurante Playa Carmen, for a great atmosphere, good food and excellent cocktails. They also have beach lounge chairs for rent so you can relax to the max! The Mal Pais Fishery -- 1km One great perk our guests get to really enjoy is our proximity to the Mal Pais fishery. You can buy fresh fish straight from the line from local fisherman, which they'll filet for you on the spot. It's literally 5 minutes from the property. Local Tours & Activities I highly recommend our guests to explore Mal Pais, Santa Teresa and Montezuma there are some really beautiful and magical spots here. The same goes for massage therapy, we can arrange them to come to the house or we can recommend a couple really nice spas in town. Surfing Mal Pais and Santa Teresa have consistent surf year round, we have waves and warm water literally 365 days a year. I've been surfing here for the past 20 years, I'll point you to the best breaks depending on the swell size, direction and tides. There's ideal spots here for beginners, intermediate and advanced level surfers. It's literally a surfers paradise, tons of peaks to choose from! Private Chef Services Private chef services are available to our guests. Ask us for our breakfast, lunch and dinner menu options. Vegetarian, vegan and kid menus are available. Plus special birthday and holiday requests are welcome as well. Extra Room for Family and Friends Our house has an additional unit upstairs that can accommodate up to 8 guests.
