We are located in the hills of Mal Pais at the highest point overlooking the beaches of Mal Pais, Santa Teresa, and Hermosa. The location is a perfect getaway for a group of 4-16 adults. It has 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms in the main house with an ocean view and the option to rent an on-site apartment for an extra cost to accommodate groups larger than 12 people. This is a large house app 6000 Square feet. The main house has 5 bedrooms/ 6 bathrooms. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. All bedrooms and bathrooms have wonderful ocean views with balconies. No one gets shorted. The main house includes 4 king beds and 2 queens. Very large living, dining, and kitchen area all with ocean view. The kitchen is equipped with a large commercial stove. You can seat 12 people around the bar area. All the 15 secluded acres are included. Property caretakers live in a separate house. They are a very sweet couple that will take great care of you and your family but they will give you lots of space after their job is completed. My husband and I traveled to Costa Rica every chance we had for several years but one area drew us back again and again. The quaint surfer village of Mal Pais. Breathtaking stretches of quiet private beaches. You return again and again. A 4x4 car is a must or an ATV. We prefer to use ATV. You will see a lot more wildlife on ATV and the smell of the Jungle fragrance can be unforgettable. This is a very private estate overlooking the jungle and the best ocean views. I don't know of any better anywhere. Your camera will not capture the width of the ocean view. Sunsets like none other. Every bedroom and bathroom has a spectacular ocean jungle view. Every room is airconditioned but we built to be open. The owners never sleep with AC. We leave the large doors open and sleep wonderfully with just ceiling fans. We wake up to the birds calling and the monkeys howling every morning. There is an abundance of flowers, butterflies, birds, and monkeys from the pool area. The property sits high enough to be in a micro-climate. Much cooler than on the beach and hardly see any mosquitos. It is our paradise to share. From this location, you can explore all the beaches of Mal Pais, Santa Teresa, Hermosa, Montezuma, and Playa Suecos.
