Andrew's Cabin was built in 2012 in memory of our first white settler in this area back in 1879. This cabin with modern amenities is tucked back in the trees behind Sheyenne Oaks Campground & RV Park. The setting is ideal to enjoy the Sheyenne National Grasslands or take a quick drive to the city of Fargo, ND. While you are here, indulge in the sites and sounds of nature. Make it a stay to remember: schedule a massage with Jodi (LMT) located on-site; $80/hour. A quiet log cabin settled into the edge of the woods. This cabin has a kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, and basic cooking tools. The bathroom has a sink, toilet, and shower. The main floor has a queen bed, the loft above has a full size and two single beds. You must bring your own bedding and towels for personal comfort and safety. You may ask your host for an upgrade to include these items. Outside you will find a fire pit, picnic table, and lp grill. Settle in and enjoy! All of it! Our family lives across the road at the ranch. We offer pure country: hills, trails, river, and immunity-boosting sunshine. Your cabin is located 8 miles south of Leonard, ND. In this sweet little town, you will find a convenience store that also has gasoline and diesel. We usually buy our groceries in Fargo which is 45 miles NW. For a fun place to go for supper, we recommend The Silver Prairie Saloon in McLeod, ND just 15 miles away. Upon arrival at Sheyenne Oaks Campground, you will see the log sided, red-roofed shower house in the middle of the electric hookup sites. Behind the shower house, you will see Bertha's Cabin back against the trees. This one is very visible. Andrew's Cabin is to the right of Bertha's Cabin tucked back in the trees. You may need to drive toward Bertha's Cabin (on the grass) before you see your destination. Treat yourself to a massage while you are here. Jodi is a licensed massage therapist. She would be happy to set a time to bring the table right to you! Cash or check $80. We provide tp/paper towel, but not bedding, towels, and washcloths. Please bring your own supplies.
