My place is in the heart of town, in a very large piece of land with a lot of privacy and open spaces. Its only 8 minutes walk to the beach on a dirt road full of trees, birds and monkeys. Conveniently located in town, but private, quiet and cozy. Very short walk to restaurants and stores. The Villa is good for couples, solo adventurers, and small families. Recently renovated and upgraded. Two twin mattresses on living room that serve as couch. Laundry only done by Playa Negra Villas staff, 1 full load $20, wash, dry and folded. Owner house is on the same property, large garden. Owner is available for any questions or assistance. Property is located next door to famous Café Playa Negra, great peruvian and international cuisine. They open 7am - 9pm, great breakfast and amazing ceviches. Lulas Tours is located up the street for tours, surf lessons and bike rentals at Pargos Adventures . Jalapeños Eatery is next door, and La Vida Buena are down the road for pizzas and more . We are located 1hr from the international airport in Liberia (LIR) and 30min south of busy Tamarindo beach town, where there's an airfield with domestic flights from San Jose (SJO). Playa Negra is a beautiful beach but also a close drive to other beautiful beaches and attractions. Costa Rica is a tropical country with a lush vegetation, we are in what its called the dry forest because its where it rains the less in the country, but still a very thick forest with monkeys, iguanas, deer's, lots of birds, etc., so expect to find bugs of different kind at different times of the day and the year/seasons, mosquitos, ants, spiders, june bugs (here come in may) etc. Some times the bugs come for a visit, specially ants, even more if you leave food left overs.
