Built by my grandfather in the 60's, this property has always been in our family and is compact, stylish and clean. The apartment has a great and accessible location just five minutes from the motorway and next to the new and developing NOI Techpark. Situated on the cycle path into the city centre (about 15 minutes' ride), it comes with self check in and free secure parking. The space The apartment is traditionally decorated with rustic wooden and tiled interiors. It has a kitchen / dining area, modern bathroom and double bedroom with adjoining balcony overlooking the warehouse courtyard and valley (smoking permitted). It is fully furnished including iron, hairdryer and towels. This apartment is perfect for students, professionals and for tourists to use as a secure base to explore the nearby city. Guest access Guests have full access to the apartment, which is part of a residential block housing three other tenants. There is a small shared courtyard ideal for sitting out, underneath a wonderful persimmon tree (from which you can pick your own fruit seasonally). The apartment has free secure parking within its gates - a great benefit as parking in the city can be expensive and difficult to come by (although we can provide a list of the best sites). Other things to note Please note that there is a set of stairs that must be climbed to enter the property. Smoking is not permitted in the apartment or the courtyard but an ashtray is provided on the balcony. The neighbourhood Edoardo And Amy’s place is located in Bozen, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy. The apartment is located in a quiet area, near to Casanova which has a railway station, supermarket and other amenities. It overlooks a courtyard of warehouses, also built by my grandfather, which accommodate local businesses - so there is always someone around in case of queries! South Tyrol is the most densely populated for castles in Europe (home to a whopping 96!) and you may spot one or two nestled in the overlooking mountains... Bolzano itself has a host of attractions including Ötzi the neolithic iceman, famed Christmas markets, and a fascinating Austrian-Italian heritage. It is popular with travellers in summer, skiers in winter and cyclists year-round. It is located in a valley of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomite mountains. Getting around If you are travelling by car, the Bolzano Sud exit off the A22 motorway is located just 5 minutes away from the apartment. The nearest airports are Innsbruk, Verona and Milan, and Bolzano Central railway station serves all of these. Bolzano Casanova railway station is very close to the apartment and from here you can get to the lovely alpine town of Merano, known for its spas and Art Nouveau buildings. From Casanova it is also possible to take the bus into the city centre (25 minutes). Free parking is provided at the apartment - just ask for a list of the cheapest spots to park in the city centre if that's how you're getting about. You can also hire bicycles and make use of the cycle path that goes right past your front door. Parking in the centre is free for motorbikes. We will provide full directional instructions on the location of the apartment, with photographs, in advance of your stay.
