On a dead end street, next to a park. Relaxing, secluded, yet still only 45 min to the heart of Manhattan! 1 Mile from Greenwich Train station - Easy access to 95 and everything NY & CT Super comfortable king bed and a shared bathroom (possibly with one or two other people or none at all). Free street parking. Quiet, with lots of privacy and easy walking to shopping and eateries. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families. Come and go electronically - no keys needed. Quiet room with Super comfortable king bed. This part of the house is partially underground, so the temperature is always comfortable and the window is relatively smaller with a blackout curtain so you have total control over the level of the light coming in and your ability to hear any outdoor sounds is significantly reduced. It's the best room in the house! You have a separate temperature control for your room. The house was recently totally renovated and the bathroom was completely redone. Shared bathroom with 2 other bedrooms (if not occupied, you will have the whole apartment for yourself!). Lots of privacy. The room includes your own closet with plenty of hanging space (with hangers) and shelves and an armoire. Iron and a hair dryer are available. Clean sheets and towels are included. No steps. Very secluded and relaxing, yet only 45 min to the heart of Manhattan! Please note: For stays of 8 days or longer: For your safety and comfort the cleaning person will be cleaning your place at least once a week and it will be an additional charge of $35. You can schedule and pay for more frequent cleanings. You have the use of the bathroom, kitchen for light cooking (on the counter you will find teas and coffee) and dining area. As you share the apartment with other guests, when you use the shared space, for the comfort of all, please clean up after yourself. The living room is also my office and occasionally, during the day, I may conduct there therapy sessions. Please do not use the fireplace, it's only for decoration. Thank you. I welcome you as I would a family member and it will be my pleasure to help you feel comfortable. I truly hope that you will feel at home and that you enjoy your stay.away I assume that you can be independent, if you need some assistance, I am here for you. Gateway to New England and jewel of Fairfield County’s ” Gold Coast”, Greenwich, Connecticut is one of the most beautiful communities in America. Gracing the shore of Long Island Sound just 30 miles from downtown Manhattan, Greenwich is well known for magnificent mansions, historic homes, beaches, islands, parks, museums, yacht clubs, riding trails, golf clubs, schools, libraries, restaurants and the famous “Greenwich Avenue”, an unforgettable shopping experience. You can relax at the house or explore the nearby attractions. Check out Port Chester with it's 14 screens movie theater and many wonderful restaurants. There is even a great Thai restaurant a short walk away from the house. Shopping, restaurants, bar and a famous gourmet market within a few minutes walking from the house. The Hospital Thrift Store is a great place to pick up amazing treasures at super low prices and is a short walk as well. The room is located in a house that is a short 5 minute cab ride to Metro North trains to NYC and Norwalk, Darien etc. The train station is at the base of Greenwich Avenue, which has many stores and restaurants, including an Apple Store, Tiffanys (!), Sax Fifth Avenue and many boutique shops and cafes. It is a 2 minute drive to I95; Stamford is 4 exits away, Port Chester and the Capitol Theatre is only one exit away, and White Plains is about 15 minutes from the house by car. Nightlife includes many restaurants, some with outdoor seating, and nearby Stamford and Port Chester have many late night spots. Greenwich is filled with scenic roads and the North Greenwich area is home to many lavish homes and mansions. It's a fun drive, and especially in the fall, very colorful. You will be in a quiet residential area on a dead-end street. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Free street parking near the house. Lots of privacy, but also many options within walking distance: shopping, restaurants, bar and a famous gourmet market within a few minutes walking from the house. And there are various car services and taxis available for you to use. Please feel at home. But absolutely no illegal drugs, excessive alcohol and no parties. Smoking is allowed only outside and please collect and dispose of your buds in the outdoor trash to the left of the shed. Thank you so much! :-) Please note that if you are staying for longer than 8 days there will be weekly cleanings of your room (also your sheets and towels changed) and the rest of the apartment and your participation is only 45 dollars each week.
