Vilaree, the name of our garden, is a tribute to the ex-owner for their love and generous. With 3 Thai-French style villas and a vital garden, Vilaree is a gorgeous surprise at foot of beautiful mountain. Vilaree is in the middle of a village 20km north from downtown. Public bus and taxi are't so convenient. Your own vehicle is required for your transportation. Please ignore the pin on the map. Airbnb map can't show the correct location. The actual location is near to Mae Rim Post Office. Leelawadee House Leelawadee, the Thai name of frangipani flower, we use it to name the villa which you are checking on. It's most popular one of our 3 villas in Vilaree Garden. Leelawadee house is loft structure building which has a big living area, a guest bedroom, an en-suite kitchen, 2 bathrooms (both downstairs). It owns a beautiful garden view, Leelawadee house is suitable for a family or a group of close friends. All antique furnitures and other collections are our treasures. Please cherish them with you enjoy the convenience. ------ Downstairs: Downstairs is taken as both living area and master bedroom. A King-size bed with high quality bedding is put in the open area. Sofa area and working table can fit your needs on relax and work. Instead of air-conditionor, we use elegant celling fan to cool the house. Most of time, the temperature inside is very comfortable. Baby cot is provided on request. ----- Guest bedroom: 2 single beds are provided in the guest bedroom upstairs which could be combine into a super large double bed on request. You can seat on the floor to read or chat in a cosy reading area with sufficient light. Where an extra mattress could be arranged if your group has the 5th member. The room is equipped with both elegant celling fan and air-conditioner. ----- Kitchen: Full set of kitchenware, tasteful tableware, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker, some necessary spices. You can find almost everything you need to enjoy your own cooking. Tea and coffee are also free for use. ----- Bathroom: Both bathrooms are equipped with shower facilities, which is convenient for whole family. And we prepared for you high quality pure cotton towel and Thai pure natural shower amenities. ----- Cleaning: Our housekeeper and gardener will clean your room and the garden everyday (except Sunday). ----- Laundry: We provide free machine laundry service, but not hand wash and dry wash service. Iron service is on request. An iron is provided in the villa. ----- Rental: We offer discount for weekly and monthly rental. It automatically processes when you make the reservation. If you hope to rent the whole 3 villas, please contact me for discount. Garden: The garden has an area of almost 1000 square meters. 3 villas divide our garden into separate area. Here you can enjoy the beauty of the whole garden and a separate sunny garden area. ----- Entertainment and Leisure Area Pool ball table is provided for your entertainment. Please make sure don't disturb the guests in other houses when you play it. Playing card is also provided in the house. An afternoon tea table is put beside the pool table. A trojan rocking chair will be a wonderful toy for your kid. ----- Parking: Free outdoor parking. I don't stay in Chiang Mai all the time. If you need anything, please ask my housekeeper for help. I would love to talk to you if I'm here. Natural Environment: There are plenty of trees in our yards, therefore its cooler inside then on the street. At mean time, there are also more insects and animals. If you come with your kids, it is a good place for them to know the nature. Please beware if you really concern about mosquito and small insect. ----- Neighborhood: Vilaree is located in a typical northern Thai village. Surroundings is 100% rural life. If you are looking for an absolute quietness, our home might not be the best choice for you. Because the vivid sounds of village life would come to your ear quite often. Different to sounds in the city, we have more insects, birds, chickens and dogs. Broad rice field is behind the house. Walking in the lovely green farm field in the morning, visiting small and exquisite temples, feeling your inner peace and enjoy the self-enlightenment moment consist the component of daily life. ----- Tourism info: The location is actually an advantage for tourism. Just 5 minutes driving then you find yourself on the road of attractions. There are plenty of sightseeing spots, activities alone the road to Mae Sa area, such as The Sirikit Botanic Garden, Mae Sa Waterfall Park, Tiger Kingdom, Mae Sa Elephant camp, X game center, shooting club, zipline adventure, etc. In these area it's never lack of garden view cafe, mountain view restaurant. You can find both typical local food and fusion taste. You can also find wonderful spa. Vilaree is located at Mae Rim District in North Chiangmai, which is around 20km/12mi far from Chiangmai ancient town center. It takes 20-30 minute drive depending on the traffic. There is also shuttle bus between the city and Mae Rim from early morning to 6pm. However there is no fixed time plan. And at peak hour, it is difficult to get a seat. Therefore the best solution for your transportation would be renting a car. - Kid under 7 is free of charge. Please don't count your kid in the group number. - Rent a car is strongly recommended - The light inside the villa is darker than it shows in the photos. The photos was taken by the photographer officially assigned by Airbnb who shot the photos much more brighter than the actual look. - Currently we don't provide AC in downstairs area. Fans are provided. We have many trees to keep the yard and house cool. Usually the temperature inside the yard are 5-10 degree lower than outside street under the sun. We would rather to prefer eco-friendly other than more sunlight in the house. - Sometimes we move the furnitures and decorations. So when you check in the villa, you may find some area looked not the same as the photos. But every changes is made to let the living conditions better and more comfortable.
