Goats, sheep, cheese and a 4,000 sq ft modern Farmhouse! Unique house with views from every room. Sweeping porch to sit and watch the workings of the farm. Fresh eggs and cheese upon arrival. You observe in milking, cheese making and assist in herding animals on our 160 acre organic farm! Enjoy produce from our garden and feel free to hike around the property. This amazing Farmhouse is in the midst of a working goat & sheep dairy and farmstead creamery. If you love animals and artisan cheese then this is the place for you!! This is a working-farm so there will be people milling about the property. You can help out with the goats, garden, or simply take a hike around the 160 organic acres. You can use our double and single kayaks. 5 miles down the road there is a public dock so you can drop them in amazing Tomales Bay. We have 3 life vests. We have an outdoor gas grill. Eggs and Cheese from farm will be in fridge upon arrival. You can help yourself to veggies and herbs in the garden for cooking (season dependent) as well as spices, olive oil, tea and coffee in pantry. Wine in pantry belong to owners. We will greet guests upon arrival. There are team members around the property (working and staying in adjacent cabin and airstream) if any needs may arise. Tomales is a quaint town with a wonderful bakery and saloon (oldest in Marin county). There is so much to do in West Marin/West Sonoma County! We are 3 miles from Dillon beach, 5 miles from Marshall (oysters and amazing kayaking), and 10 miles north of Pt. Reyes— all the hiking trails you could ever want. Head north and you enter the charming towns of Bodega Bay, Occidental and Sebastopol for wine tasting or a spa day. No public transportation so bring bikes (or car). This is an organic working farm and we ask that guests respect the land, buildings and animals. There is no cable TV but we have a projector/movie-screen and surround sound speakers. We also have lots of board games! Please note that the farm is very rural and thus the wifi and Apple TV occasionally disconnects (but not often). Bed configuration: Bedroom #1 downstairs: 2 Full Beds Bedroom #2 downstairs w/in suite bathroom: 2 Queens Bedroom #3: 2 Doubles Master Bedroom #4: 1 King & 1 Twin Small loft above Bedroom #4 with double size bed— good for teens or those who don't mind climbing library ladder. There is not privacy between loft and Bedroom #4 and NO SMALL CHILDREN ALLOWED in loft. We also have 3 twin inflatable mattresses with bedding. We ask that guests do not sleep on the couches, so please ensure that this bed configuration works for your group.
