"Oporto AAA" is a central lightful and sunny apartment located in the heart of Porto, at Rua do Almada, an historic street full of bars, restaurants and cafes, shops of traditional commerce and shops of alternative commerce. The apartment stands on the 5th floor of "Almada Living" with great views over the old historic center of Porto, where one can see, at very short distance view, iconic monuments like Clérigos Tower (first symbol of the city) the Porto Cathedral (the most important church of Porto, built between the 12th and the 13th century) or S. Bento Central Station. "Almada Living" is a complex of centenary buildings that have been recently rebuilt. The works of rebuilding and reconstruction have kept the original frontage and ended in September 2018. That is why buildings are brand new and interiors are modern and functional. To access the apartment there is a modern building lift (elevator). I'm always available for any additional information my guests might need. At short walking distance one can get to the bustling streets of Santa Catarina and Flores that are both very busy and full of life, with plenty of interesting places and monuments to see and to visit. Ribeira, the wonderful riverside of Douro, with lots of little restaurants and outside terraces over the river, is only at 10 minutes walking distance. At few minutes walking distance, stands the most important metro station,Trindade, that assures direct connections to the airport and central train station of Campanhã. There is a chimney in the front of the balcony, which sometimes, depending on the wind direction , brings a smoke smell to the apartment. Unfortunately this situation happens because this chimney belongs to a restaurant next door to the building, which only cooks with firewood. When this situation occurs , the only way to solve the problem is to keep the door closed and turn ON the air conditioning for a while.
