Cross country trails at Hildene and Wild Wings both offer rentals. Riley Rink for ice skating. The condo has an almost unobstructed view of the scenic Green Mts. The main floor of the condo has an open plan making up a dining/living room as well as a tv room or den. There's an L-shaped deck running on each side of the living/dining (which is useless in winter but in winter gives the feeling of more open space.) On the lower level of the condo is a large master bedroom (king ). This room has a wall-mounted TV and ensuite bathroom. A very small second bedroom (double) is on the same floor. There is another full bath in the hall just outside this room. The open plan upstairs area, with kitchen, den/TV room, dining/living and a powder room with toilet, sink, washer and dryer. While most welcome, our condo may not be perfect for older people or for toddlers and children just learning to walk, as there are two 8-step stairs to get from the lower level to the main floor and narrow stairs (see photo) to the loft. We want to provide our space to people who appreciate the outdoors and nature and who will enjoy our condo and this region of beautiful Vermont. The entire condo is available for 5 mo running - Nov 1, 2023 - March 31, 2024. The person whose name is on the rental agreement, should be one of the people occupying our accommodation. Thank you for complying INFORMATION: 1) The condo is for 4 people which is the maximum number of guests we accommodate; no "camping" on sofas or couches for more than this number. However, there is a small loft space and we will accept 2 extra in certain cases. 2) Dogs are welcome - up to 2 small, or 1 large for a $50 returnable deposit fee. No Cats! 3) All dogs must be leashed when outside the condo (according to condo association rule as well as town law) and please pick up after them. Please be considerate of the neighbors if your dog barks when you're absent. We can be contacted by phone, text or email for any questions and we will have a caretaker in case of need on site. There is no public transportation in Manchester or the surrounding areas so plan to have a car, bike, or bicycle or just walk. Our setting is unique in that it's in a countrified setting yet a five min walk to town down our quiet hill into Manchester Depot - Starbucks, outlets, grocery stores, an Italian deli, Discount beverage, Walk 10 min further and you're in Manchester Center - Bonnet and Main coffee shop and lunch, Thai Basil restaurant, Gringo Jack's Mexican, Pharmacy and many name brand outlet shops. There is also a gym (The Gym, Manchester, Vermont) a 2 min drive from the condo (fitness classes, personal training, all workout equipment) Southern Vermont Urgent Care is a 5 minute drive away. SVMC 's team of providers are all part of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover N.H. and Southwestern Medical Center in Bennington, VT health systems. This corner of Vermont is an all season destination. Spring hikers, bicyclists, fishermen; summer activities abound with alpine slides, VSF annual horseshow, Southern Vermont Art Center and Music Festival, craft fairs, Hildene - the Lincoln Family Home, sightseeing tours, farmer's markets; fall spectacular foliage; Winter downhill skiing at Bromley, Stratton Mt, Magic Mt and cross country skiing at Wild Wings, Peru, Hildene and many others There is no public transportation in Manchester or the surrounding area. Come with your car, bike or bicycle or walk. BE AWARE The condo has accommodated animals way (dogs) in the past and our children have a dog that visits often. This could affect anyone who is allergic.
