Our cottage is ideal for tourist or traveling professionals located in a residential neighborhood 1 mile to downtown Monterey, 3 miles to Carmel and the Aquarium. No pets allowed. Our beautiful cottage is located on our property situated behind our home. It is approximately 250 square feet. The home and cottage sit on 1/4 of an acre with a lot of beautiful trees and is in a quiet neighborhood yet close to everything. This property can only accommodate 1 adult (21 and older & no children regardless if they are infants). If you are looking for a place to call home this is your cottage! Guest have their own kitchenette, bathroom and space. Parking is on our driveway or on the street. Sorry, no pets allowed. Our interaction is limited as we are also busy with work and family. We live in the front main house with our children and enjoy guests as they come and go. I love where our home is situated because it is nestled away from it all yet we are super close to everything! You can walk to the mall (approx. 1/2 mile) where you will find Whole Foods or walk to town and catch the free Trolly (during the summer) that will take you to the Aquarium and Carmel. Our neighborhood is considered one of the oldest in California and all the homes sit on large properties therefore there is a lot of privacy. Public transportation is available since we are close to everything. The property is for 1 adult which means 21 years of age or older. Kitchenette equipped to do minimal cooking. It offers a small sink, small refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster and microwave. No stove and not appropriate for major cooking. The unit has a heating space unit with a remote to turn on or off during the cold season. Water is a premium in California and very expensive - we ask our guest to please be considerate of our water shortage and take showers that are quick to address the shortage. The unit shares a wall with one other unit- like what you would find in a hotel, apartment, or condo.
