Enjoy your stay in the Smokey mountains in our studio with your own private bath and entrance. Sleep like a baby on the queen size memory foam mattress. We are just minutes away from several beautiful waterfalls, hiking trails, and a couple family friendly breweries. We are also hour away from the dragon for all you bikers. Microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker are in the room for your convenience. Private room and bathroom. Laundry room is shared with homeowner. Private entrance, private room, private bathroom, shared laundry space. I live upstairs. I am available if needed. The home is three minutes from downtown Franklin. Up the road from the home are several beautiful waterfalls and hiking. Also swimming holes and fishing along the Cullasaja river in the gorge. Cliffside lake is about 20 min away up the gorge and is stocked with trout, has a swimming area, and hiking trails. We are located about 30 min from Highlands, and an hour away from Asheville. Unfortunately we do not have Uber or Lyft in our area yet. We do have animals on the property. Please consider this when booking if you have allergies to animals. We do not allow them in the guest room or bathroom but they do reside in our home. The laundry room is a shared space. The bedroom and bathroom are for your private use. Our water source is from a well. We do provide filtered water for drinking as some people are nervous about drinking well water. (Whole house filter, then filtered with a Berkley.) We can refill it upon request if you run out.
